I've hit another slump with this. And I'm really sorry about that. I've just got major website block right now. I don't know what I want to do with my little piece of operaglasses.org...do I want to do just a blog? But am I exciting enough to do that? I don't think I am. Do I want content? How much? What kind? And then there's the whole design aspect. I have all sorts of ideas about how I want the site to look, but I just can't find a...I don't know...muse, I guess.
Bah.
Hopefully this will pass. And quickly.

I just signed up for HaloScan, so now my comment thinger isn't so wacky. How's that for being productive? Heh.

I've only just got this up and already I'm antsy for something new. It's so hard to create something I'm happy with, but once I've found it it's around for a long time. So that's good...right?
Anyways, I think I'm just about done with Greymatter. I need some other blogging tool...this is like, what, the third time I've tried other things? Gah. Never happy, am I? ;)

Look who's back.
Just a quick and simple layout to get rid of the hiatus page. This isn't the finished version...I need to get the content links on here soon.
The picture to the right was taken by none other than me. That's right, every once in a while Abby can take a good picture. It's actual a reflection of the Church in the canal that runs nearby it, but I flipped it so it would be right-side up.
Pretty spiffy, no?

Thursday, December 2nd
My seminar paper is finished, done, completed, finito.
(At least, for the next week and a half. Heh.)
But now it's time to move on to other things. Namely, my Film final paper. Somehow that paper snuck up on me...but then again, with my seminar blinders on, a lot of things snuck up on me.
Unfortunately, because of the damn blinders, I also have no topic. None. At all. No ideas. I'm meeting with my professor at noon to correct this, and all I can say is that I'm very thankful it's Russian Film because the Russian Department loves me as much as I love it. Therefore, the professor should be forgiving. I hope.
After that, however, I will be able to play some Sims 2 guilt-free. Woo!
PS: It's December? What the hell happened to November?! Bah!

Just a quick update since I've got oh-so-much to do...
Thanksgiving was wonderful, even though it went by so quickly I can't even believe my break is over. Never before have five days gone by so fast.
Oh, and remember how I was complaining about there being no snow? Yeah. My first day in St. Louis is snowed. How's that for irony? I go there thinking it'll be a nice warm change, and it snows. Gargh.
Alright. Back to my seminar paper. *puke*

In 12 hours I will be in the MSP airport drinking a Starbucks and reading a Vogue and everything will be right with the world.
The pink luggage will be taking its maiden voyage...here's hoping the airline won't rip it up.
I guess stuff went down this weeekend, but I'm just not able to process it right now. My mind is set on one thing and one thing only: flying home to see my family, my kitty, and sleeping in my room in my bed. Oh yeah, and gouging myself with turkey.
I had another dream about my trip to Russia in January...but this one was quite a bit freakier...
My friends and I decided to go and see a movie in Moscow, so we drove(?) to a theater. After the movie, we decided to sneak into a second film. But I, being the paranoid person I am, was so worried that we were going to get caught that I went outside to sit in the car. As I was sitting in the car waiting for my friends to come out after the movie was finished, a cop pulled up and told me that I had to leave. I asked him why, and he told me that Chechen rebels were going to blow up the theater. I flipped out and told him that I had to go into the theater and get my friends, but he wouldn't let me. The cop ended up driving me away...
And that's all. I hope it doesn't mean anything.
Alright, it's time for this chick to hit the hay.
Happy Thanksgiving, and I'll see you next week!
PS: There's no snow yet. NO SNOW. This is fucking Minnesota we're talking about here, and there's no snow. Humph.

The clock never stops, never stops, never waits -
She's growing old, it's getting late...
I know that I've only not too long ago crested the 20-year-old hill, but good gravy, do I feel old sometimes. Sometimes I just feel like I haven't accomplished much of significance in my 20-years. I mean - geez. Yes, I'm in college, but almost anyone that is willing can get a degree.
Well, poop.
